Visit the masjid

What to know before you come, and a look inside the masjid on Revesby Walk.

Before you come

Address
2 Revesby Walk, Nechells, Birmingham B7 4LG
Getting in
The entrance is step-free. Facing the building, brothers go in on the right and sisters on the left, by their own entrance to the sisters' prayer area.
Parking
The masjid has no car park of its own; there is parking on the streets nearby.
Opening
Open for Fajr and closed shortly after it, then open from Dhuhr until shortly after Isha. The times move with the prayers: today's are on the prayer times page.
Jumu'ah
One Jumu'ah every Friday. The khutbah is usually in Arabic and English, sometimes in English only.

المداخل

Outside and the entrances

The building was once the Vauxhall Sports and Social Club; the charity took it on in 2019 and turned it into a masjid. The story is on Our Story.

مدرسة الفرقان

Madrasah Al Furqan

The masjid's own madrasah teaches here six days a week, with no classes on Friday. Children learn the Qaidah, then the Qur'an, and tarbiyah, with lessons in fiqh and in adab and akhlaq (manners and character) as well. The groups and times are on the madrasah's page.
