Madrasah Al Furqan / Parent portal
Parent Portal
Register your child with Madrasah Al Furqan, and once they are enrolled, follow attendance, messages from the teachers and fees in one place.
Opening soon The online form and the login are being set up. WhatsApp and phone work today, and do the same job.
Three steps
- Register your child
Send us their name, age and school, by WhatsApp today or through the online form when it opens. One message per child is fine.
- We confirm a place
The madrasah replies with a place in the right group, or adds your child to the waiting list if the group is full.
- Log in to the parent app
Once your child is enrolled you get a login: attendance, messages from the teachers and fees, on the web or in the app for iPhone and Android.

Questions parents ask
Who can join?
Children from the age of 6, in three children's groups. There are separate groups for older boys and men, and for women. Your child is placed by age and by how far along they are in reading the Qur'an.
When are the classes?
Six days a week, with no classes on Friday. The children's groups meet on a Saturday or Sunday morning and two weekday evenings; older boys and men on Monday and Wednesday evenings; women on Sunday afternoon. The full timetable is on the madrasah page.
How much does it cost?
Fees are To be confirmed. Ask on WhatsApp and we will tell you the fee, and how to pay, before you commit to anything.
What will you ask me for?
- your name, phone number and an emergency contact
- your child's name, date of birth, school and Qur'an reading level
- anything we need to know to keep your child safe, if there is anything
Nothing else. You do not need any documents to register.
What is the parent portal?
A website and app the madrasah uses to take the register, message parents and record fees. It is run for the madrasah by Teach 'n Go, a school management service used by other madrasahs in Birmingham. Parents get a login once a child is enrolled, and the app works on iPhone and Android.
When does the portal open?
It is being set up now. Until it opens, WhatsApp and phone do the same job: the madrasah registers your child and answers your questions. Parents will be told by WhatsApp, and at the madrasah, when the login is ready.
I don't use WhatsApp
Call 07908 854187, email info@masjidatarbiya.org, or ask at the masjid after any prayer.
Who can see my family's details?
Only you and the madrasah's staff. Teach 'n Go stores them for the madrasah under UK and EU data protection law and does not use them for anything else. The full privacy notice explains what is kept and for how long.
