Take the tour

Saturday 10 October 2026 at the masjid on Revesby Walk: the prayer hall at Dhuhr, the library, the classes of Madrasah Al Furqan, and the building at dusk.

2 Revesby Walk

The building was once the Vauxhall Sports and Social Club. The charity bought it in 2019 and turned it into a masjid; before that, from 2007, the masjid was at the Garrison Centre on Garrison Lane. Our story

The wudu area: white tiles from floor to ceiling, taps along the wall and a low seat at each
Low round seats with yellow tops in a row beneath the taps of the wudu area

الوضوء

مدرسة الفرقان

Madrasah Al Furqan

The masjid's own madrasah. This class sits round its teacher on the carpet while he reads to them from a book.

Six days a week, with no classes on Friday. About the madrasah

A teacher speaking into a microphone, a laptop in his other hand
A boy sitting on the carpet with his hand raised

In the large hall

Another class, and a teacher with a microphone.

A question, and the hands go up.

A teacher at a table with two boys, one reading to him
A pupil's hands holding an open Qur'an, a pencil resting on the page
A boy reading aloud from a book open on the table

One to one

A pupil reads to his teacher across a table, the Qur'an open, a pencil on the page.

A hand writing notes in pencil on a sheet of paper

The sisters' class

Notes taken by hand while the teacher writes on the board.

The masjid at dusk, a floodlight shining beside the entrance
The masjid's sign lit at night: Attarbiya Masjid in English and Arabic

At dusk

The sign lights up over Revesby Walk.

Two doors

Facing the building, brothers go in on the right and sisters on the left.
